Upcoming Passive House Project | Queen’s University Belfast
Queen's University Belfast has received approval for Northern Ireland's first certified Passivhaus student accommodation. The 459-unit, eco-friendly building on Dublin Road will be the largest of its kind in Ireland. It aims to meet growing demand for sustainable student housing, in line with Queen’s sustainability goals for 2040.
The development will offer ultra-low emission housing, contributing to Belfast's future-proofing efforts and the university’s accommodation strategy. This project is expected to generate economic benefits and provide high-quality living for students. More details are available on the university’s website
