The Passive House Association of Ireland is the core of the Passive House community in Ireland and Northern Ireland, linked into a broader international network, through the International Passive House Association (iPHA).

PHAI membership enables individuals, entrepreneurships and public bodies to be part of this community and to contribute to its growth: promoting the Standard, sharing knowledge and experience. Members will be invited to attend PHAI regular events, working groups and other activities. PHAI members will also be entitled to vote at the Annual General Meeting.

You can also become a patron member. Passive House Association of Ireland Patron membership has been developed to finance and support important research work. The Passive House Association of Ireland wants to undertake lobbying, education and promotion of the Passivhaus standard and Passivhaus principles in new build and retrofit developments, both residential and non-residential. It relies on a committee of experts to develop consensus-based programmes and papers.

HAI Patron Members will:

• be invited to join our Technical working groups and other committees thus influencing policy- makers, developers, clients and other key players

• be able to attend exclusive meetings to develop strategies and proceedings

• have logo and name associated and displayed on all relevant Passive House Association of Ireland research material published on our website

• be able to use the Passive House Association of Ireland logo on marketing materials

• help to promote the Passivhaus standard in Ireland

Certain membership levels also include promotion of educational and training events. If you’re offering a course we’d be delighted to share it with our membership, and provide you with resources when possible.

PHAI is an affiliated association with the International Passive House Association (iPHA). This connection provides members with access to a worldwide network of Passive House professionals, fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration on an international scale.
