A two-storey Passive House in Dunloy, Northern Ireland

This Passive House project, completed in 2014 in Dunloy, Northern Ireland, is a two-story detached family house built with timber construction.

The design is compact with a southeast orientation, maximizing solar heat gain. With a treated floor area of 187 m², it features high-performance insulation, wood log stove heating, and underfloor heating.

Certified by Passive House Academy, the house has an airtightness of n50 = 0.56/h, an annual heating demand of 15 kWh/m², and a non-renewable primary energy demand of 105 kWh/m².
