This EnerPHit Retrofit project in Magheraveely, Northern Ireland, involved refurbishing an existing house with a south-facing extension.

The 287 m² home, completed in 2014, features masonry construction, including fully insulated cavity walls, an insulated concrete floor slab, and a timber roof with mineral wool insulation.

It achieved the EnerPHit standard with a ventilation system, heat recovery, and heating via a wood log stove and air-to-water heat pump. The house has an airtightness of n50 = 0.7/h and an annual heating demand of 18 kWh/m².
