This certified Passive House in Mallow, County Cork, completed in 2010, is a unique contemporary design by architect Miles Sampson. The 208 m² single-family home features a grass roof, wood frame construction, and eco-friendly materials such as cellulose insulation and sheep wool.

The building achieves an annual heating demand of just 14 kWh/m², with a primary energy demand of 70 kWh/m². Mechanical systems include a Maico ventilation system, pellet stove, and solar collectors for domestic hot water.

The project emphasizes natural materials and sustainability.
