The Passive House Association of Ireland (PHAI) would like to thank everyone who took part and opened their houses and also to all those who took the time to visit.

There were six official open houses, covering a broad geographical spread of the country. Some participants opened for one day, others for all 3 days.
Reports indicate that there was a high level of interest with most hosts entertaining between 10 and 20 visitors. Many of the visitors were prospective self-builders who were interested in learning more about Passive House principles, and in some cases the specifics of certain aspects of the project e.g. heat recovery ventilation, windows etc.
Other visitors to the open houses included a mixture of architects, engineers and students.
PHAI wish them all the best as they pursue their interest in passive house design and continue their interaction with the PHAI community.
