If you are building or have designed, live or work in a low energy building, would you consider participating as an exhibitor in the 3rd Nearly Zero Energy Buildings Open Doors event this November?
During the weekend of the 13th – 15th November 2015, owners of low energy houses and public/ commercial buildings around the country will open their doors for this event. We hope to attract many visitors interested in either building a low energy project or upgrading their house or work environment to a nearly zero energy standard. Last year, over 1,000 people visited more than 70 houses and public buildings in 21 counties around Ireland during the NZEB Open Doors weekend.
So, if you would like to participate by opening your doors and inspiring others, please contact:
Michael Hanratty, info@nzeb-opendoors.ie , phone: 01 4548300, www.nzeb-opendoors.ie
The Nearly Zero Energy Buildings Open Doors event will be run in parallel with the International Passive House Days campaign.
The NZEB ‘Open Doors Days’ campaign took place in 2013 and 2014 under the umbrella of an EU programme. As NZEB Open Doors is seen as playing an important national role in promoting the NZEB standard in Ireland in a practical and tangible way, the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland will be supporting a nationwide NZEB Open Doors campaign in Ireland in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
