Passive House Visitors:
The International Passive House Open Days are a great opportunity to learn about Passive House and energy efficient buildings. Get in contact with current owners and learn first-hand what it is like to live in a Passive House and what the building or retrofitting process was like. Some open houses and buildings will even have professionals on hand with the knowledge and tools to explain the technical details of Passive House projects.
As well as all the opportunities to talk and learn about Passive House, participants can experience Passive House buildings, both residential and non-residential, for themselves. Enjoy the comfortable interior temperatures, take a look at the ventilation system, ask questions and consider the possibilities of Passive House for your own building projects.
Find Passive House projects by:
- Checking out the participating Passive House buildings in the Passive House Database. Viewing and/or event information is included in the entry!
- Taking a digital tour! Digital content for the Mid-Year International Passive House Open Days will unlock on our Youtube channel at midnight CEST on Friday, November 5 2021. For now, you can discover digital tours from last year’s #iPHOpenDays in the dedicated YouTube playlist on our channel!
- Finding a local project via our world map! All the new participating buildings are marked in yellow, whereas the buildings that took part also to previous editions are marked in blue.
Passive House Owners:
You can submit a live, in-person tour or event or offer online tours, Q&A sessions or webinars. You can find previously submitted video tours on the iPHA YouTube channel. For guidance on video format and content, please check out previous submissions and submission instructions here.
Projects can be at various stages – from fully occupied to under construction. Registration is free of charge but first-time users will be asked to create an account. Click here for detailed registration instructions.
To participate in the International Passive House Open Days 2021, please register your project with the International Passive House Database.
If your project is already registered with the International Passive House Database, simply fill out the information on the International Passive House Open Days viewing appointments and update your contact data if necessary.
