STL 2015 – Review and Photos

The See the Light Conference 2015, held in Cork Institute of Technology (CIT), successfully followed through with this year’s strategy of regionally relevant conferences. With a cross-section of attendees from industry, academia and local authorities, the regional strategy resulted in more new members attending this year.

The selection of the Architecture Factory, on the CIT campus, provided an excellent opportunity for the exhibitors and business community to interact with the students – the architects of the future!

The tour of the Zero2020 building during the lunch break was a great addition to the programme and was very well attended by the delegates.

Many of the exhibitors, in addition to having the opportunity to network and meet with prospective clients, used the opportunity to showcase newly launched products or services. For example, through their exhibition stand and the plenary presentation by David Murray, Coillte showcased their recently certified products – Medite Vent and SmartPly VapAir Tight.

The Southern Chapter has other support activities planned for the coming weeks and months, such as project site visits and information events.
