The International Passive House Days weekend takes place this year from 11th – 13th November 2016.
Throughout Ireland there are many Passive House properties taking part in the event this year – details of some of these are outlined below.

Kilkilleen, Skibbereen
The dwelling is located on an elevated site in Kilkilleen, Skibbereen. To the west there are panoramic views of Roaring Water Bay, and to the north there are views over Reemurish.This distinctively modern family home is designed to meet the high performance criteria required of Passive House standards. The configuration and layout of the building is in response to the context of the site, taking advantage of it’s aspect and maximising the scenic views.
The house will be open for viewing on Saturday 12th November
Crawfordburn, Ballymullan, Northern Ireland
The house will be open on Saturday 12th November from 2.30pm to 4.30pm
Paul McAlister will be will be giving a talk on the property at 3.00pm
Merlin Park Lane, Galway
This 188m2 two-storey pre-manufactured timber frame family home built in 2016 was designed to suit the modular system of Scandinavian Homes Ltd. focusing on passive housing.
The house is open on Sun 13th Nov 2 -5pm
