Architect Susanne Winkel is a senior scientist with a focus on training and education. Before joining the PHI team in 2008, she worked as an Architect and energy consultant. At the Passive House Institute she heads the training section and is in charge of the operational work on the Certified Passive House Designer Scheme.
She was actively involved in the development of training materials and the development of the tradesperson-scheme. Alongside this, she works on consulting and certification of building projects. Susanne provides an overview of the Certified Passive House Designer and Tradesperson accreditation process and how you can retain and renew your certification.
